I am here to serve you!I thought I would be used to it by now, but if you move with kids and caboodle, there is a lot to consider and a lot of responsibility. I grew up in West-Berlin, Germany and schemed all my childhood about getting out of the city. Of course, at that time it was an island…(Fall of the Wall). When I was 17, I made it to Hamburg and lived there happily training horses and working in management training, until I was 27. Then I ventured to the US and relocated to Sedona, Arizona. My adventurous spirit took me to Los Angeles where I started buying and selling real estate in the 70's and 80's just for myself. In 1985 I moved to the Southern Oregon Coast and did some more real estate developing, while raising my four children and finally getting a real estate license there. In the year 2000 I moved to Flagstaff, Arizona and made my AZ real estate license. I then moved to Red Lodge, Montana and I started my own real estate company there in 2003, being also licensed in Montana, Minnesota, North Dakota and Wyoming. In 2024 I settled near the quaint town of Rogue River, Oregon. My Montana license is still active while my Oregon license is fresh off the press - again. I am having a lot of fun helping others to realize their dream regarding relocating into the mountains, a big ranch, small farm or just being able to grow a garden. Southern Oregon is in the growing zone 8 which is fantastic for getting self-sufficient when it comes to food. Many folks here have chickens and some even goats, a horse and a mini cow (they are about the size of a Golden Retriever!) About the career as a Realtor Knowing how hard it is to relocate and trying to find a Realtor that actually helps you a little and is not just out to get a commission, I decided to take up that profession and to do a better job than most. I made this website with as many helpful links as I can roundup, so newcomers would have an easier time. This profession seems to be in my blood. In 1899 my grandfather was an architect in Berlin, Germany, and rebuilt East Prussia after WWI; my grandmother was a real estate broker in Berlin as well. My mom always took me to construction sites to show me what bearing walls are. It seems to me, I am a born broker - in business since 1899.. ;-) ![]()
Here are some compliments I had received:
Hi, just wanted to drop you a line and thank you for the OUTSTANDING job you did in marketing and getting an offer on my house.
I've visited many different web sites and looked at hundreds of properties. But, I have never enjoyed visiting any site as much as yours. The pictures and commentaries are wonderful. (At that time I had a page for each of my listings, which I will do again). It's easy to see that you have put much time and effort into making your web site as personal and informative as possible. Thank you.
Hi Dorothea,
Hello Dorothea,
Thank you again for thinking of us Dorothea. You simply must be the best agent up there! It does sound intriguing, so I'll mention it around and see what shakes out. Back to the South Dakota trip I made. I now have about 6 guys and one judge ready to return with me next year. I also have them interested in going in together if there is a large farm/ranch for sale so we can return at will to hunt/fish. I still think we would all be much happier up your way. So I have just got to figure out how to get up there for a few days at least. More later.
Wow, Thanks so much for the info. We will look forward to receiving your catalog and will check out your site. Looks like a ton of fun and opportunities. Thanks so much for keeping us posted on your properties you have listed. Love to read your write-ups on them...quite personal and such a good selling point. Wish our realty would be so exciting about our listing here in Idaho...still keep in touch on acreage in the Dillon area Thank you for your help. He has contacted me and we will stop in his office when we are in Montana. You can tell that you love what you do. It is nice to see good customer service. That is a very nice bio you have included on your Website.
Subject: impressive Hi! Thanks for a lot of information. Your information is great It was sooooo nice hearing from you! I don't think a day goes by anymore when I don't think of meeting you and settling down in MT. Well Dorothea, with all of that information from my work computer and I brought up all the pictures I got a complete history lesson and how interesting it was. I can't wait to get there and see all of this |
